Nat Page decided to launch her writing career as a full-time college student working toward a fine arts degree in Creative Writing. Growing up as an only child, Nat developed a love for storytelling as a form of entertainment from a very young age. Not one of her childhood toys escaped playing a role in the expansive, complicated stories she spent so much time telling. However, it wasn’t until she was inspired by the work of S. E. Hinton, specifically The Outsiders, that she decided she wanted to share her work and started writing her first novel, Photograph, at the age of fourteen.

She continued working on the story throughout all of high school and, after many rounds of rewrites and editing, finally published it during her freshman year of college. In addition to her writing, Nat also enjoys drawing and has filled a grand total of thirteen sketchbooks with illustrations of the characters from her stories. Having been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder around the time she began working on Photograph, Nat also uses her writing as an outlet for her mental health. She hopes her readers will find the vulnerable, human portrayals of her characters to be just as relatable and cathartic as they are for her.
